Students worked on a range of low-floor and high-ceiling problems like the Handshake problem, the 3-Act Super Stairs problem, the Tower of Hanoi puzzle, and explored functions by creating art on Desmos. Solving problems involved drawing, role-playing, building bridges, running up the stairs, making estimates, messing around with complex equations, and making their thinking visible. This was followed by a reflection on their learning and personal growth.
